🎤 Forest Tate
Forest Tate hosts the Salon Sunday Open Mic, creating a welcoming stage for seasoned performers, first-time poets, musicians, storytellers and brave creative experiments.
As Forest puts it:
"The open mic at Salon Sundays is for people to take a brave risk in a safe place. We welcome seasoned songsmiths trying out fresh material or poets who want to share their first poem. Come with a drum and offer to collaborate. This is a stage with no expectations. What are we going to create together?"
A longtime Salt Spring musician and songwriter, Forest brings both warmth and encouragement to the role, helping create a space where creativity, spontaneity and community can flourish.
