Well, many of us are in this self isolating commitment now. We noticed people having issues finding meat, milk, eggs, etc. right now. First off, check our local independent butchers and seafood suppliers like Pete Charlton's Quality Meats Steelhead Food Co. Western Meats & Deli for great quality meats and seafood. However, there are many vegan, vegetarian and meat alternatives out there. This pic is called Koshari (kushari) from Egypt. We have done it in the past and it is amazing. No need for meat at all. We put a recipe link below. Please post your meat alternative dishes or recipes as comments below to give people some great healthy alternatives during this crisis. Food is a universal love among all cultures and brings people together. We need this right now.

Dear customers,

We have been thinking on the Covid-19 situation all day and weighing pros and cons for continuing operating during this time. There are many closures around the city to help lessen the impact of exposure to the Corona virus. As confident as we are with the over the top cleaning regime we already execute on a daily basis, we have chosen to join the ranks and close temporarily. We want to be responsible for part of the solution and follow the suggestions of the Ontario Health Officials. We will be closed for at least the rest of March in hopes that this pandemic subsides, and the world gets back to normal. Please help those in need, and only take what you need to get through this time. There are many of those out there that desperately need your help, love, and support. Please take all of the precautions necessary to be part of the solution. This will be a hard time for us, so please stay tuned for when we re-open, and hopefully it will be a party for a positive outcome. Also, save your money. We want to see you, and it again soon. lol
