We served over 300 bowls of ramen today!!! 🍜😭❀️ Thank you all so much for coming out and celebrating Umami Kid’s 1st birthday with us!

This was truly one of our busiest days ever!! nonstop dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders from start to finish. We couldn’t be more grateful for all the love and support you showed us today. Also to everyone who showered us with kind and encouraging words. We appreciate all of you❀️

We also want to apologize to anyone who had to wait longer than expected for their orders. Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during such a busy day. It truly means a lot to us.

And to our amazing team, we are SO proud of you! πŸ₯Ή Despite the long hours and nonstop rush, you worked so hard and never forgot to smile. We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you.

Tomorrow, we turn one. And honestly, we still can't believe it.

Eunice and Sanat came to Canada as immigrants chasing a dream: not just of a better life, but of building something of their own. They found each other, built a life together, and took their first leap of faith with Bubbly Cup. Then came Umami Kid: born from a love of Japanese food, anime culture, and the belief that Saint John deserved something truly special.

And then there's Ali Asher, our real life Umami Kid. ❀️ The little one who inspired it all.

One year later, here we are. Still standing. Still cooking. Still pouring our hearts into every bowl we serve.

None of this would have been possible without every single one of you who walked through our doors, shared our posts, brought your friends, and chose us again and again. You didn't just support a restaurant. You supported a family's dream. And we will never forget that.
