Fresh, flavourful, and made from scratch. 🌿✨

These vegan grape leaves and vegan cabbage rolls (both gluten-free!) were part of a recent catering order. While this was just one small piece of the menu, I couldn’t resist sharing them.

Over the past little while, we’ve been a bit quieter on social media than usual.

While we’ve been busy with catering orders, pop-ups, and serving our amazing customers, our family has also been navigating something incredibly difficult. After 13 wonderful years, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to our sweet Abby.

She wasn’t “just a dog”—she was family. Abby was there through so many milestones, celebrations, and ordinary days that became special simply because she was part of them. The house feels a little quieter without her, and our hearts are certainly a little heavier.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible team at Uptown Animal Clinic for the compassionate care they gave Abby during her final months
And a very special thank you to Seaside Home Veterinary Care for providing such a peaceful, compassionate in-home goodbye. Being able to let Abby pass surrounded by the people who loved her, in the comfort of her own home, was a gift we’ll always be grateful for.

Thank you to everyone who has been patient with us while we’ve taken a little extra time to focus on family. We appreciate your understanding, and we’re looking forward to getting back to sharing more of what we’ve been up to soon.

Run free sweet Abby. You’ll always be loved and never forgotten. ❤️🐾

Pistachio lemon cake and whipped frosting, kissed by the heat last week 😅 thankfully we were informed it upheld the party and flavour didn’t disappoint 😋

We have been busy with cake orders the last month and we don’t mind one bit! Our boxes have arrived a little smaller than our traditional size so we changed the look a little by adding a mini layer on top!

I’m reminded of the same thing…

Most of us have no idea what we’re paying in processing fees. I’ve had some really great conversations with local business owners the last month since digging in deep on a side of business a lot of us don’t have time to do. What’s the pattern? Local businesses are paying A LOT more than they need to for payment processing—simply because nobody has ever shown them another option.

As a small business owner myself, I know every dollar matters. That’s one of the reasons I partnered with CPOS. Before recommending it to anyone else, I switched my own business and saw firsthand what the savings could look like. This summer, we’ve kept every dollar earned so far 🥹 which in return, can reflect more affordable pricing to our customers since this hits full circle!!

During the last month, I’ve reviewed business accounts in NB and NS where businesses had the potential to keep hundreds of dollars more every month—money that can go back into staff, inventory, marketing, or simply staying ahead. I’m not interested in giving businesses another sales pitch. I just want owners to know what their options are.

This is just the start of helping local business owners keep more of what they earn ❤️ and keeping your favourite local businesses thriving!

This weekend was a reminder of how important it is to invest in the next generation

My daughter had an incredible experience at the Nike Sports Camps Canada , learning from coaches and athletes who not only taught the game but encouraged confidence, resilience, and to believe in themselves and finding their voice.

A big thank you to Rod Raines and Daneesha Provo💖 for sharing your knowledge and inspiring so many young athletes.

As a local business owner, I love seeing opportunities like this. Watching young people grow through sports, mentorship, and teamwork is something worth celebrating.
