Hi everyone! Thank you again for the outpouring of support on our last post and this past weekend. Andrew has been overwhelmed by the response, and so have we. We’ve set up a go fund me for Andrew and his family to help them focus on his recovery and the financial loss that comes with needing to press pause on Bolete for the next few weeks. This community has already been so incredibly supportive and kind- we truly cannot thank you enough. Just some quick updates & announcements for everyone about what’s been going on at Bolete this week. As most of you may now know, on Saturday morning Andrew gave us quite the scare, when we got the call that he suffered a stroke. The good news: he’s doing well and is on the road, to a full recovery. For his newest trick he will master rest and a new level of patience with himself. His wife Christina has been absolute rockstar and hasn’t left his side since Saturday. In order to give Chef the time he needs to fully recover, we have decided to press pause on bolete for the next few weeks so he can focus on healing. We have been so lucky to have such an incredibly supportive community behind us. We are finishing up this week with the help of Bryson Erik Peacock and Executive Chef Moe from Gretzky Estates who are truly saving the day, if you’re coming to see us today or tomorrow you can look forward to seeing them on the line. Tomorrow, Saturday the 20th will be our final day for the next bit, we invite you all to come by for a drink, apps, dinner or just to say hi. While we take a short break, continue to follow us here for updates, we’re going to have some time on our hands to refresh bolete and come back better than ever. Thank you all for your support over the last 9.5 years and your continued support as we navigate these next few weeks♥️ -bolete team
