An important part of creating atmosphere in a restaurant is an exceptional playlist.

Naturally, music has remained a defining influence on the Dispatch experience, and will be filling our gorgeous space until the final departure this weekend.

A big shout out to a local legend, Dj Marinko (aka Marinko Jareb), who started the vibes at Dispatch with his custom playlists. And another shout out to DJ AP Limbus (aka Dr. Adnan Pirbhai), Dispatch’s co-founder and owner, who added his flavour in recent years.

As we prepare for our final departure, we’re taking a moment to reflect on some unforgettable memories from along the way.

It feels only right to start with the incredible transformation of our space. What began as a blank canvas evolved into a vibrant restaurant and backdrop for countless special moments shared with all of you.

Dear Friends,

Dispatch has always been more than just a restaurant—it has been a space for discovery, connection, innovation and community. We marked our arrival in 2019, as a Living Wage Employer, a rarity in hospitality to this day. Gaining recognition among Canada’s Best New Restaurants and as an Industry Changemaker by EnRoute Magazine validated our ambitions. Exactly six years on, our passion for service, story and community remains. The time has come, however, to end this leg of the journey.

Our final departure will be Saturday, March 22. Come through and join us for the food, drink and spirit we have been so blessed to offer you, our beloved community, over the years. Stay tuned for special send-off updates on our socials and newsletter.

To everyone who has dined with us, worked with us, and supported us—thank you. Dispatch could not have become what it is without you. You embraced our vision and devoured the stories we told through food, beverage and service. It has been a most memorable adventure.
