Drifter Brew Co.

Drifter Brew Co. Welcome to Drifter Brew Co., a place where craft beer, scratch BBQ, and genuine Italian pizza come together to create an authentic dining experience.

We’re closed today, but here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at how the magic happens.

This throwback video features Chef Curtis showing the team how we build two Drifter favourites: the Margherita and the Prosciutto Bianca. From stretching dough to topping each pizza with care, it’s all about consistency, craftsmanship, and pride in the details.

Good pizza starts long before it reaches your table.

We’ll see you Wednesday. Reserve your table online and let us do the cooking.

Blog #34 – Summer at Drifter

Every business has seasons.

For us, summer is when a lot of different parts of Drifter start moving at the same time.

The brewery is busy. The restaurant is busy. The patio fills up. Events start popping up on the calendar. People travel more. Friends gather more. Communities spend more time together.

You can feel the momentum building.

On the brewery side, we’ve got Summer Somewhere Key Lime Cerveza heading into the market, Mario Italian Pilsner back in ANBL stores across New Brunswick, Italian Plum Sour in tank, a new Witbier underway, and Bike Shorts Pink Grapefruit Radler returning after strong demand. At the same time, Evergreen Pale Ale, Idle Time Light Ale, and Travel Mug East Coast IPA continue to lead the way in the tap room.

Beyond the brewery walls, we’re continuing to grow as well. New accounts are coming on board, existing partners continue to support us, and we’re excited to see Drifter beer showing up in more places throughout the province.

At the restaurant, the new menu continues to find its footing. Watching guests explore it has been one of the highlights of the season so far. Some favourites are emerging, but what’s been most encouraging is seeing people move around the menu and try new things.

The events side of the business is picking up too.

Wedding receptions. Private events. Patio parties. Off-site catering for local businesses. World Cup viewing parties. It seems like every week another opportunity appears to bring people together around food, beer, and shared experiences.

And honestly, that’s probably the common thread through all of it.

Whether it’s someone grabbing a pint in the tap room, a family gathering for dinner, a wedding celebration, a company event, or a room full of people cheering for the same team, we’re ultimately in the business of bringing people together.

The beer matters.

The food matters.

The service matters.

But the reason people show up is connection.

Summer tends to create more opportunities for that than any other time of year.

We’re excited for what’s ahead.

“You look happier.”

Thanks, I found my neighborhood brewpub.

Another great weekend is in the books. Good food, cold beer, familiar faces, and the kind of conversations that make a place feel like home.

We’ve got one more dinner service tonight before we close up for a couple of days and get ready to do it all again.

See you Wednesday.

Sunday Funday looks a little different today.

The rain may be falling outside, but there’s something pretty magical about a rainy day in the solarium.

And if you’re stopping in, topping your Brookside Market Salad with blackened chicken is the move.

Fresh strawberries, crumbled feta, spiced candied pecans, maple dressing, and perfectly seasoned blackened chicken make this seasonal favourite a pretty easy choice.

Rain outside. Good food inside.

Over Yonder is calling.

Piri piri chicken, a three-cheese blend, oven-dried tomatoes, and pickled red onions piled high on our hand-stretched dough. Then we finish it with crumbled goat cheese, fresh arugula, and a drizzle of hot honey on a garlic butter base.

Sweet. Savoury. Tangy. A little spicy. A whole lot of flavour.

Some pizzas play it safe. The Over Yonder takes the scenic route.

Low-key… we really love pizza.

Over the past year, we’ve made thousands of them. Classics, BBQ pizzas, white pizzas, spicy pizzas, meat-loaded pizzas, and everything in between.

A lot of time, effort, and passion goes into every pie that comes out of our kitchen, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

So tell us… what’s your favourite Drifter pizza?

Meet one of the secret weapons in our kitchen: house-made pineapple jalapeño salsa.

Sweet, bright pineapple meets fresh jalapeño heat for the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. It adds a fresh burst of flavour to our Lulu Island Fish Tacos and helps bring every bite to life.

Simple ingredients. Big flavour. Made from scratch right here at Drifter.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

The Pit Stop and the Good Call.

Two fan favourites. One loaded with layers. One piled high with comfort.

House-made queso. Fresh toppings. Crispy house-cut fries. Corn tortillas stacked and baked to order. No shortcuts, no microwaves, no mystery cheese sauce.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what goes into our Pit Stop Nacho Stack and Good Call Fries Supreme before they hit your table.

Made fresh. Built big. Best shared. (Or not. We won’t judge.)
