Greetings, friends and neighbours!

I have had an incredibly exciting day. I received my Ontario Teaching Certification as well as my UK Visa, now safely ensconced in my passport. All of my effort, time and investment has become a reality, and 24 days from now, I will leaving to teach in the UK for the next two years.

As you can imagine, I won’t be having much time to bake, between planning lessons, travelling and teaching. So I am announcing that Sinnamon Sweets will be closing as of today. Thank you so much for all of your support, good humour and loyalty over the past few years. It has been a wonderful experience, and I have appreciated every moment.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to thank everyone for this support of my business, in person and online. You are the reason that I do this, to satisfy sweet cravings, create happiness and full bellies. I love hearing your feedback, and using it to improve the bakery.

Some of you may know that I am off on the amazing adventure that is Teacher's College at the University of Windsor. I am loving every minute, particularly being a student teacher for grades 7 and 8. I have made the decision to close the bakery for now, and to focus my effort and energy on school and placement.
