The days are dwindling. Only 5 more until we officially close the doors on Cowtown Beef Shack, Red Deer.

We can’t thank all of you enough for squeezing in another visit or two. We’re also grateful to so many of you who have just discovered us since we announced our decision to close a few weeks ago.

Like Dorothy, the realization it’s time to let go of a dream is a difficult turning point.

Our lease is up and with heavy hearts and a mix of emotions and well thought out reasons, we want to let you, our fabulous, faithful supporters, know of our decision to close the doors on COWTOWN BEEF SHACK, Red Deer, September 13, 2025.

We’d sure love the opportunity to welcome you to The Shack and serve you up one (or maybe a couple) more time before September 13th .

Due to an unforeseen situation, we are making a slight change to our hours of operation.

*July 17, 18 and 19 (Wed, Thurs and Friday) we will be open from 11 am until 6:30 pm. *

Going forward throughout the summer, our hours will be:

Monday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Tuesday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Wednesday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Thursday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Saturday 11 a.m.–7 p.m.
Sunday 12 (noon)- 7 p.m.
