The end of an era. 🌮
Small businesses are built on hard work and hard decisions. The decision to say goodbye to this location, and take a year off while we look for a new home and what the future may hold for us, was not an easy one.
We love the community we have built here, and we will miss you deeply. In the meantime, we thank you for your support and love, and look forward to serving you tacos again in the future. Stay safe out there, and keep enjoying tacos! 🌮

Six years in the Gasoline Alley Farmers Market has come to an end.

This canvas was painted by my mom when we made the decision to open a permanent Taco Monster location in the market. I had taken a photo of the Red Deer River, our illustrator Brian created Chomp floating in a tube, and my mom brought it to life on canvas.

It was more than just a painting. It represented a dream. A dream to build something new and exciting in Red Deer. A taco spot that played by its own rules, did things differently, and created something fun for all ages.

As I take this canvas down today and pack it away, I am reminded of the excitement, hope, and vision we had when this chapter began.

I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity, for the love we received, and for every person who supported Taco Monster along the way. I truly hope this is not goodbye forever, just the end of this chapter. My hope is that one day we will see you again in a new space, with the same excitement and excellence you have come to know and love.

In the meantime, maybe this summer I will finally get a chance to float down the river myself.

Thank you again for all the love and support. We will miss you.

These photos are from Day One of Taco Monster in the Farmer's Market.

As we walk in today, it will be our last time serving customers in this space we called home for the past 6 years. What better farewell than to be joined by Jonathan Strome and David Moyes who worked together on our opening day! What a full circle moment.

Starting at 2pm today you will be able to purchase any remaining inventory we have left of our Taco Monster proteins in bulk. We hope to sell as much of our extra inventory as possible before 4pm when we close. (Bulk Menu in Images)

Thanks everyone for supporting us over the past 6 years. As we have said before, we hope this is not good bye, just an "Until Next Time".

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. Our final weekend in the Gasoline Alley Indoor Farmer's Market is here, and while we love being here, it is time to turn the page on this chapter of our story. Fortunately, we plan to regroup, refocus, rest, and come back stronger than ever. While we do not know when or what that will look like, we hope this is not goodbye, but just, see you next time.

All jokes aside, we have done our best to stock all of your favourites, but some of our items will sell out before our final day on Sunday, please be kind and gracious with our staff. We have done our best to thoughtfully sell down our inventory while maintaining the best selection we can. We want your last visit to be a good one! Please swing by, purchase our heavily discounted Taco Monster Merch (socks, key chains, lanyards, stickers, etc.) and enjoy your favourite tacos before its too late.

Thank you for all the kind messages you have been sending our way. We are going to miss you too! While we enter our last weekend in the Gasoline Alley Farmer's Market, we are filled with gratitude for all of those who have supported us over the past 6.5 years. Thank you for cheering us on, hyping us up, and buying our tacos. We hope you never forget the joy tacos can bring, and that we get to serve you again in the future.
