Our traditional cafe menu items are designed to tantalize your taste buds and satisfy your craving for comfort food. Please note that we do not have a website at this time; we keep in touch on Facebook only.

Sandbar Cafe will be closed on December 24 (Christmas Eve) and December 25 (Christmas Day).

We will reopen on December 26 with regular business hours.

Regarding the ongoing electrical work, we are still waiting to receive inspection and service dates from BC Hydro. However, we can’t continue waiting indefinitely, so we have decided to reopen starting this Saturday.

Our business hours will remain the same as before: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If there are any new developments or changes, we will share updates right away.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience over the past two-plus weeks. Thank you again for all your patience, encouragement, and support—it truly means a lot to us.

We look forward to seeing you this Saturday!

Dear Customers,

We would like to inform you that our ongoing electrical system upgrade has been taking longer than originally expected. Our electrician, Merrick, is doing his absolute best; however, the process has been repeatedly delayed due to permits and inspections required by BC Hydro.

According to our original plan, we were hoping to reopen starting this Thursday. Unfortunately, we will need a little more time before we can safely resume operations. That said, everyone involved is working diligently, and we remain hopeful that we will be able to reopen again soon.

At this time, we will announce our reopening date once the schedule is confirmed. We sincerely apologize for the continued delays and any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding, and we will provide an update as soon as we have more definite information.
