Weekends at the roastery in townsite have been a lot of fun. We wanted to make it even more fun for the Townsite Public Market anniversary on Saturday, so we are excited to bring in Full Circle Doughnuts
Does anything really go better with a locally roasted organic Americano than doughnuts?

I feel bad for the people who want a locally roasted coffee on a Sunday morning. We will open the roaster shop at Townsite Sunday morning at 9am for the caffeine deprived.

We will be open Saturday mornings at Townsite for the month of December.
Americanos and espresso will be available as well as bagged coffee and some stocking stuffers. Come by the roaster shop and say hi.

We had a great time opening the doors to the roastery at Townsite on Saturday. Much love to all.
Our focus is to continue roasting and our goal is to make the highest quality coffee bean available to all.
Think 'Robin Hood' of coffee.

Hello Everyone!
Its been a long while since I've posted anything here...
Base Camp will continue to exist!
It just needs to take pause and contemplate some options...some deep thoughts.
We will not be selling off equipment or dismantling any of the two locations on Marine or Townsite.
I would like to thank all the humans that have brought their energy and support to Base Camp over the years!
To the staff out front and behind the scenes, to the local community, the supportive businesses, the suppliers, the artists,my family and all the friends of Base Camp that have made it what it is.
It's been quite the journey and adventure will continue!
I will keep you all updated.

It is with great sadness that we are deciding to close our locations in two weeks.

Our current food and beverage offerings and pricing just doesn't have the margins that are necessary to be a viable business anymore. Increases in packaging costs, staffing, and especially food costs have meant that we have been losing money steadily for a long while now, and staying open going into this slow fall and winter continuing to bleed money just doesn't make any sense.

We'll look at all options over the next six months to decide what to do with our beautiful stores, maybe we can come up with a new innovative menu. I would like to thank our staff and customers from the bottom of my heart, this was a hard decision to make.

I encourage folks to support small businesses as much as they can, they are all struggling. Our last day open will be Saturday October 7th. We appreciate your understanding.
