This post is for all of you who went outside this morning, then went back for a sweater. Brrrr

It's cozy food day!
We all know cooler weather makes us crave carbs and sweet treats so we are ready for you today with cookies, brownies, cupcakes, nutty-chocolatey power snacks, yummy tarts, and cake slices... and lots of soup to balance it all out.

We have organic Creamy Chicken Stewie and Smoky Corn Chowder by the bowl or you can grab a litre to take home for dinner... (also lots in the freezer).
Pair with our fresh Rosemary Back Olive Bread, a hearty salad and some Peach or Sour Cherry Tarts for dessert and we promise the weather will fade to the perfect backdrop for your inner coziness.

We discovered weren't quite ready to give up peaches,
So we made both Peach Raspberry Blueberry Tarts AND Sour Cherry Tarts.🍒

We only have 4 Cherry Tarts left from yesterday (we've already made more Peach Tarts) but don't worry we will be making more Cherry Tarts this morning so they will be out of their pans by early-aft!

We highly recommend our mixed boxes with 2 of each flavour so you don't need to choose😋
(Our crumb topping made a little heart on that front cherry tart all on it's own, so you know there is love in there!❤️)

HELP!!
We were all in with local peaches and apricots and raspberries... but then sour cherries came along!🍒

First thing, we made fresh sour cherry juice. Look at the colour!!
(Super high in antioxidants, great for inflammation and can help with muscle soreness and Gout...)
**If you would like some pure fresh juice just give us a call - we can make you some.

THEN we made our favourite Sour Cherry Soda Floats which we were still dreaming about from last summer. With our mysterious Sour Cherry Oolong Tea Syrup, fresh sour cherry juice, Sour Cherry Sparkler and topped with coconut whipped cream.😋
Our tastebuds are feeling joyous!

But what do we do!
Should we jump right into Sour Cherry Tarts and leave peaches behind? (It does take hours to peel and slice the peaches lol)
Or should we make both at the same time? Can we eat that many tarts??
Or continue with Peach Tarts but also make Sour Cherry Pies?
Should we ignore boundaries and make Peach Sour Cherry Tarts?

All other problems will be postponed until we resolve this delicious conundrum.

We are OPEN today (with Peach Apricot Blueberry Tarts and Sour Cherry Soda Floats) from 10-7pm **open later so you can shop after work.

Weekdays are the best days to enjoy Port Stanley, when things are a little quieter but the weather is perfect for the beach or wandering around town to check out all our local shops and artisans.

We are freshly stocked for this beautiful weekend!

Our fridges are filled with fresh salads and bowls...

Our ovens have been busy baking fresh Peach Apricot Blueberry Tarts and Maple Blueberry Tarts... Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes and shortbread cookies...

Lemon Lavender Loaves and Rosemary Black Olive Breads are ready to go,

and we restocked all our Mushroom Lentil Walnut Veggie Burger and Salmon Sweet Potato Burger patties!

There is also a fresh batch of Sausage Minestrone Soup for those of you who eat soup year-round.
