One of the best things about doing business in a small community is knowing there are people you can count on when you need a hand. ❤️

Today, we were having one of those "good problems" at The Chip Ship — we were going through potatoes faster than expected and getting dangerously close to running out.

A call to our friends at The Arbor in Port Dover and they came to the rescue, supplying us with some of their fresh cut fries to get us through. 🥔🍟

For many years, the Schneider family was always incredibly good to us. Whether it was helping us out with supplies or allowing us to use The Arbor as a delivery point for our fresh-baked buns, they were the kind of business owners every small business hopes to know.

We’re very happy to say that spirit hasn’t changed under the new ownership.

The new owners have continued to extend the same kindness and cooperation, and Suddsy, their longtime lead employee, deserves a special mention. He has always taken the time to help us however he can — never making it seem like an inconvenience and always willing to lend a hand.

So, if you’re in Port Dover, please stop by The Arbor, grab one of their famous footlongs, delicious fries or a Golden Glow, and show our friends some love.

And from all of us at The Chip Ship — thank you to the new owners, Suddsy and the entire Arbor crew. We appreciate you! ❤️🍟
