) is hiring permanent part-time baristas!
We are seeking two experienced baristas. We are looking for coffee lovers that are reliable, passionate, energetic and love connecting with our community and guests.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver Excellent Customer Service – ability to connect, remember and engage with over 400 customers a day and delivery excellent customer service, while managing stress and leading your team
· Produce high-quality beverages and food – ability to create an amazing beverage and food with urgency and to the highest quality standards
· Up-sell our wonderful products. Selling skills – has the product knowledge and ability to perfectly match coffee with food and create an experience for our guests, while increasing sales and average customer spend in genuine and thoughtful ways
· Maintain Store Organization & Cleanliness – lead a team to create a safe working environment for all sanitation, food safety and COVID-19 cleanliness routines and safety guidelines
· Coach and Develop the team. Coaching skills – ability to delegate tasks, coach, mentor and lead a team of 6-12 baristas to deliver on our vision of the best coffee shop and excellent connections in the Tri-cities
Requirements:
· Ability to work 30- 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment and to lead a team of 6-12 baristas with humility, professionalism and respect (Shifts range in times from Monday to Sunday, 8am – 6pm)
· Must have at least 2 years of barista experience in a similar concept (Starbucks, Blenz, Waves, Café Artigiano, Caffe Divano, etc…) - Added bonuses (latte art and knowledge of all traditional coffee beverages and brewing methods)
Restaurant experience a definite asset (Cactus Club, Joey Restaurants, Earl’s etc..)
· Food Safe an asset (not required)
· Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Potential Career Opportunities: Ability to develop and grow into a Store Manager role for the right candidate.
Wage - $15.50 to start, plus tips
