Hi everyone,

I just want to explain what has been happening with the sidewalk chalk signs pointing towards my business. While I normally put some on the sidewalk (like the one shared on my page today), I would NEVER put chalk in front of another ice cream business or on the wall someone's building.

A man saw me writing the signs yesterday and wanted to help. I told him on which sidewalks I normally write. He purchased his own chalk and has been doing this on his own time for fun, however he has gone well beyond the limits of what I would do. I have continued to put my chalk signs in my regular locations, but he has extended the boundaries & has also been putting them on buildings.

I have no intention to deface anyone's property. Out of respect for the other ice cream shops in town, I also do not want chalk right in front of their shops. However, I am unable to contact this man (as I said, I had never met him until yesterday, and I haven't seen him since).

If there is chalk on the the exterior walls of your building, just hose it off or I can do so in the morning. I can be reached by email at [email protected] or by TEXT at 289-668-0255.

I am truly sorry for all the inconvenience this has caused. Again, I never would have done this.
