Full of Beans A terrific cafe experience now open in Port Alberni; Full of Beans has healthy, delicious food offerings, great coffee, and a play area for children.

Full of Beans is THE hotspot in Port Alberni for anyone needing a place to relax with children in tow, or for those who love fresh, healthy food! On the cafe side there are hand-cut, live round tables, chairs, and relaxed seating, where we offer freshly made soups, sandwiches, salads, bakery items, as well as hand-crafted coffees, teas, and cold drinks. On the play side is everything needed to kee

p the children (under 7) happy and busy while you relax, including climbers, slides, rockers, a small selection of toys, and a creative station. Our intent is to offer fresh, wholesome, locally-sourced and organic (where possible) food and drinks in a casual, comfortable, "West-Coast vibe" atmosphere, where you can relax and visit with a friend, read a book, browse the internet, or just breathe!, all while the children are busy with their "work" of playing!

After a lot of soul searching and deliberation, it is with a great deal of sadness that Shawn and I announce we will be closing Full of Beans PlayCafe. The last 3 1/2 years have been an amazing journey for us, and we have loved getting to know every single one of our customers- especially those who now feel more like family- and watching all your littles grow! Our own health struggles and the financial atmosphere right now have just made it too difficult to keep going.

If you hold a punch pass with us, the unused plays are valid through January 11, which will be our last day. But even if you don't, please visit anyway! We would love to see as many of you as can come by between now and then, just to say thanks for supporting us!
