We’re hiring at Bailey’s ☕️

We’re currently looking for a full time line cook to join our team.

Bailey’s has always been built a little differently than many restaurants in the County. While a lot of places focus heavily on the tourist season, we’ve always tried to focus on the local community first, both with our customers and our staff. Because of that, we’ve built a more stable year-round environment with familiar faces, a loyal customer base, and a team that genuinely enjoys working together.

We’re looking for someone who:
• works well in a fast-paced environment
• takes pride in cleanliness and consistency
• communicates well with a team
• wants steady hours and long-term stability
• is reliable and motivated to grow with the business

Weekend availability is required, especially during busy season, but we work hard to maintain a flexible team environment and accommodate booked time off whenever possible.

Currently we are open for dinner service Friday & Saturday nights, but with the right addition to our team we’re hoping to continue expanding our dinner service further into the week.

Pay starts at $19/hour + tip out, with a review and raise after 3 months, followed by yearly reviews after that.

Our newest menu item is a classic BLT topped with a fried egg and cheese on rye toast (you’re choice of bread but… rye🤤)

$1 from every sale of The Duke till May 31st will be donated to our wiggle waggle walkathon team, an event put on by The Humane Society Hastings and Prince Edward 🐕

Happy Long Weekend! ☀️

We’ll continue accepting new Club Members until the end of this weekend, after which membership will close until next year again.

We’ve already had so many new members sign up since Club Day and we truly appreciate all the support and excitement around the Club. At the same time, we want to be mindful not to overcrowd things to the point where the purpose and feel of the Club Room is lost.

For existing members, renewals will remain open anytime!

Just a reminder that we will be closed Monday, May 18th for Victoria Day.

This week we’ve added a new sandwich to the breakfast menu that means a little more to me than most 💛

As a lot of you know, Bailey’s was named after my childhood dog, Bailey. After recently saying goodbye to my old boy Duke, it felt right to add something in his honour too.

Introducing “The Duke” 🥪 A classic BLT with a fried egg and melted cheese on toasted rye bread. Simple, comforting, and hard not to love.

To make it even more meaningful, $1 from every Duke sold until May 31st will be donated to our Wiggle Waggle Walkathon team, Sherman’s Gang, in support of the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward.

The walkathon takes place May 31st from 10AM–3PM at Centennial Park.

✨ Post Club Day Post ✨

I apologize this is about to be a word-y but yesterday was one of those days that reminds me why we started this in the first place.

Club Day was so much fun. Seeing so many of you come out, renew, sign up, and just be part of the little community we’ve built here, it all honestly means more than I can put into words. It’s something we dreamed up a few years ago, and to see how much it’s grown and how important it’s become to so many of you is really special ❤️

A huge thank you to all our staff for all the hard work that went into making the day run so smoothly. Many of them helped bake the goodies we had yesterday and create the gift give aways with renewals out of their own time because they also appreciate how much the customers support us and what we’re all creating here.

A few quick updates for everyone:

🎟️ Raffle Entries
Anyone who renews their membership or signs up as a new member will continue to be entered into the raffles all day today and tomorrow.
Winners will be drawn on Sunday after we close.
We are open till 7PM tonight (chicken parmesan is the dinner special) and 6:30AM-2PM tomorrow.

👥 Membership Window
Membership is now open to new members and will remain open for the next 2 weeks (or until we hit our cap whichever happens first), after which it will close again for the remainder of Year 3 (until next Club Day in April 2027).

⏳ Renewal Grace Period
Members have a 30-day grace period past their expiry date to renew. After that, the membership will be considered forfeited if not renewed. If lost you can begin a new membership during open membership windows.

Neighbours are welcome to upgrade to full membership at any time, as long as it is also within 30 days of their expiry or open membership windows.

You can renew early at any point, your membership renewal date will remain the same but dated for 2027.

💳 Membership Pricing
* Founding Members (those who joined in 2024 and also renewed in 2025):
Continue to renew at $10/year as long as membership was maintained.

* 2026 New Members / 2025 New Members / Neighbours upgrading to full Members:
Membership is $15/year
