Yesterday was such a beautiful day at Travel The World Cafe & Bistro.

A dear friend hosted a drop-in at the Bistro, sharing some of her beautiful African inspired fashion and accessories while guests stopped in, connected, laughed, enjoyed food, and simply spent time together.

And as I looked around, I thought…

Wow THIS is part of the vision i have for the bistro.

Travel The World was never created to be just a place to eat. I wanted to create a space where food, culture, entrepreneurship and community can meet and unite as one.

From jerk wings and plantains, to warm drinks, conversations around the table, beautiful cultural pieces on display and new connections being made yesterday felt like a little glimpse of what this Bistro is becoming. ❤️

For me, supporting other entrepreneurs isn’t just something I talk about, its what I was created to do.

When I can, I want to create room for people to be seen, share their gifts and connect with community.

Thank you to everyone who dropped in, supported, ate, laughed, connected and helped make the day so special.

This is hospitality, culture, entrepreneurship and the love of community

Sometimes the person doing the serving needs to sit down and be served too. 💛🙏

The other day One of my regular customers came in and insisted that I take a break, sit down and let him treat me to a hot drink for a change. 🙃

Then, as if the moment wasn't already special enough, a dear friend stopped by Genevieve Alao and Lisa Glen Janet Brown and my little break turned into laughter, conversation and connection.

I looked around and thought:

This is exactly what I prayed this place would become. 🙏 🥰💗

Travel The World Café & Bistro was never meant to be just about food and drinks.
For me,it's about People, Community, Connection
and Genuine hospitality.

Somewhere along the way, customers become regulars, regulars become friends, and this little Bistro becomes a place where people simply enjoy being together. ❤️

For a little while, I wasn't the owner, chef or person taking care of everyone else.
I simply got to sit, receive and enjoy the beautiful community growing around me.

My heart is full ❤️

We are proud to present our Paint and Sip workshops starting this summer on July 12th!

Relax, de-stress and have fun with your friends and loved ones.

Our $45 package includes:
2 hour workshop with all art materials provided.
Participants will receive a canvas with the results of thier artwork to take home.
A glass of w**e and light refreshments during the session.

Registration and payment in advance required.

Please note:
Our Maximum capacity per workshop is 20 participants. If you are unable to register for this date due to lack of space you may be put into a waiting list for the next workshop.
