We are incredibly grateful to Swetlikoff Digital Marketing for taking the time to visit our new KIZUNA Sake Pairing Experience and for creating this amazing video.

When we decided to evolve KOJO into a small sake tasting and pairing room, we knew it would be something very different from what people expected. Seeing someone experience it with curiosity, excitement, and an open mind means so much to us.

Our goal has never been just to serve food. We want to create a place where people can discover new flavours, share conversations, and make memories together.

Thank you, Jenna, for helping tell our story and introducing this unique experience to the Okanagan community.

I know some of you may be disappointed that we’ve changed our concept and now only have three regular menu items.

Because of that, we’re introducing something new that I hope will make people happy.

Chef’s Plate of the Day

Japanese Teishoku

A daily chef-created meal featuring seasonal ingredients and whatever inspires us that day.

The menu may change at any time throughout the day, so you never know what you might get.

Sometimes, you may get lucky and discover something special. 😊

Today’s feature: Karaage Teishoku
Japanese fried chicken served with rice, miso soup, salad, and house-made sides.

Many of the dishes will feature our house-made KIZUNA sauces, and hopefully in the future, we can even bring back some of our ramen as part of these special plates.

We’re excited to keep creating new experiences while staying true to what we love—simple food, deep flavors, and meaningful connections.

A New Chapter for KOJO & KIZUNA

Today we officially installed our new KIZUNA sign.

What makes this exciting is that we now have two concepts operating under one roof.

KOJO Sushi focuses on fresh Grab & Go sushi and bentos. Frozen ramen.
Many customers have told us they appreciate having quick, convenient options without sacrificing quality. Our goal has never been “typical grab & go” sushi—we want to offer restaurant-quality sushi that you can enjoy anytime.

At the same time, we have launched the KIZUNA Sake & Sauce Tasting Room, featuring sake tastings, pairing experiences, and reservation-only omakase courses for those looking for something more immersive and elevated.

Most restaurants choose one concept.

We decided to build two.

So far, it has been working better than we expected, and we are incredibly grateful for the support and encouragement from our community.

Very exciting times ahead.
