One year ago today… the shop was closed and we were all in Brazil for a very special occasion!!

Happy 1st Anniversary Fritz and Anita!!

We loved seeing this beautiful slice of South America, spending time with the Spieker family and getting a small taste of your culture and where you grew up!

I promised the Farmstead family that we’d post some pictures. It’s taken me a whole year 😅 but today’s the day! So much fun to relive these great memories.

Elina! How is it even possible for the summer to have flown by this fast?! How can it possibly already be your last day???!

It’s been a treasure to have you on the Cheesehouse team this year and be part of our summer family! We have so appreciated your ´let’s do this right girls!’ attitude, your spontaneous sense of fun and your straightforward common sense. You’re a rare find and it’s so hard to see you go!

We wish you many good things as you head off to college in Ottawa. We trust your keen interest in nutrition will propel you forward in your goal of helping and serving people through health. Keep looking up!

This girl, from the heart of Switzerland, has charmed us all with her infectious smile, cheerful personality and hard-working nature!

Loïs, these three months flew by so fast! It was such a pleasure for us to have you as an integral part of our Summer 2026 Cheesehouse team and also as a guest in our home! Your cool accent always made our customers guess where you are from - France? Germany? It was a great conversation starter! -

Today is your last day and we want to say a big thank you for your hard work and your servant's heart. May God bless you as you return home and continue to be your guide in the months and years to come. We will miss you!
