Join us for the kickoff to the holiday season at our magical holiday night market!

The market opens at 4 PM, inviting you to experience the festivities on Veterans Way and in the Community Hall. Santa Claus will make his grand arrival at 5 PM and will be available for visits until 8:30 PM before he heads back to the North Pole.

Enjoy a festive outdoor seating area, live music, indoor seating, and washroom facilities. Delight in Christmas tunes from our DJ, and don’t miss the children’s scavenger hunt!

With 90 vendors, a variety of food trucks, and hot beverages, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We look forward to celebrating this wonderful season with you!

This festive market is a great addition to Moonlight Madness in our beautiful town.

TOMORROW 🎄 how excited are you? We are thrilled to be welcoming our community and visitors to Veterans Way for a magical evening of festive fun 🎅

What to expect….
Market opens at 4 PM on Veterans Way, you will find 90 local small businesses lining Veterans Way and in the Community Hall. You will find unique, one of a kind beautiful handcrafted artisan items, festive and gourmet food, apparel, decadent baked goods, and so much more to browse.
Food trucks and carts:

Santa Claus arrives from the North Pole to Spirit Square at 5 PM and will be on site until 8:30 PM. Thank you to for making it possible to have Santa at the market.

Fred Saliani will be providing live music near the entrance to the hall and in Spirit Square.

Spirit Square will have a beautiful festive seating area for all to enjoy.

Indoor seating area and washroom facilities inside the community hall.

Christmas music in the market space and a DJ on site from 5 until 6:30 PM

Children’s Scavenger Hunt within the market space.

Moonlight Madness is a community event intended to kick off and celebrate the holiday season in our beautiful seaside town.

On SATURDAY we are back with our regular weekly holiday farmers market from 8:30am until noon.

Where to park? The parking lot on Condor Close and follow the short path to Berwick Road end of the market, the Public lot across from Berwick Residences on First, the public lot at the corner of Fern Road and Memorial Avenue, along Village Way, East Village near Fern and Cedar, or the Civic Centre lot off of Jones Street.

We are so looking forward to this event! We will be serving up our delicious Dhal and Chai as well as our mulled apple cider, spiced hot cacao and specialty Lamplight Coffee... organic mexican water processed decaf is available!

Here is a sneak peak of the schedule for Moonlight Madness ⏰

4PM Night Market opens on Veterans Way with food trucks/carts, hot beverages, gourmet food, sweet treats, baked goods, preserves, and beautiful artisan items. Market open until 8:30pm.

5 PM Primrose Street between First Ave and Second Aves closes

5:30 PM Village Voices and/or Tidesman Quartet begin caroling on Primrose in front of Town Hall

5:45 PM Qualicum Beach School of Dance do 10-minute performance in front of Town Hall

6PM Council paraded by Pipe Band from Old Fire Hall to Town (Glassford) Square

6:15 PM Council lights the Christmas tree with Town Staff.

Shops are open late (9pm)
