10/V11 Vegetables in coconut sauce/ Sayur masak lemak
A variety of vegetables, including dried bean curd and young jackfruit are braised in coconut milk. This sauce is spiced with lemongrass, galanga, chili, and in the non vegetarian version, a little blacan(shrimp paste) and minced dried shrimp. This dish is very good with our rendang( #45), the soya chicken( #48), or the Bali beef( #43), or Soya tofu( ).

V10. Fried tempeh/ Tempeh goreng
Tempeh, which is cooked and cultured soya bean, is lightly breaded with seasoned rice flour and deep-fried. We serve it with our homemade dip- Indonesian sweet soya sauce spiced with fresh garlic and a little chili. A rare treat in Asian restaurants, tempeh is very popular and widely consumed in Indonesia.
