Next Month, come see Fleeting Visions, a cinematic ambient music duo made up of Erik Johnson-Scherger (strings) and Jack Hui Litster (electronics, synths, percussion).

Friday August 21, Doors at 8:30 PM, Show at 9 PM
Get tickets now through the link in our bio or through the events page of our website.

Their music sounds and feels like a film score. Their instrumental performances take listeners on a journey through the theatre of the mind, painting sonic landscapes that flow from one song into the next like chapters in a story, enabling the audience's imagination and creativity.

About the Artist:

Erik Johnson-Scherger and Jack Hui Litster are Fleeting Visions, an Ottawa-based cinematic ambient duo. Both are composers, improvisers, and multi-instrumentalists, and their music takes you on simultaneously familiar and ethereal journeys, never to the same realm twice. Each Fleeting Visions performance is a fresh, captivating and transcendent experience.

In 2026 Jack and Erik collaborated to compose and record the music for Christian Guerin's television series Les Enfants de la Nouvelle France, shot in Ottawa and streaming on Bell Fibe TV.

The Art & Mortality Death Cafe is Back Next Month!

August 9, Doors at 5:30 PM , Event at 6 PM
Entrance to the event is by donation. Donations can be
made on the ticket link in our bio

A Death Cafe is an event where people, often
strangers, are invited to enjoy tea, cake, and discuss
death. The Death Cafe model was developed by Jon
Underwood and Sue Barsky Reid, based on the ideas
of Bernard Crettaz.

Art & Mortality Death Cafe is going to be run out of The
Art House. While there is no set agenda, guests are
encouraged to bring art supplies to work on projects or
express their thoughts visually.

Pasalubong Death Care is running this event for free,
and donations will be going towards covering venue
costs. Our goal is to encourage people to connect with
others, express their grief, and learn more about
themselves, mortality, and their community. Death
Cafes are not a replacement for grief or bereavement
therapy. If a person is unwilling or unready to talk about
death, this is not the event for them.
This event is meant to be transient and confidential.
