10 years. Wow. We’re feeling so grateful as we step into our 10th season at The Mutchmor. Thank you for being part of our journey, our family, and our story.

To every artist who’s brought life to our gallery, every guest who’s stayed in the lofts and made it a tradition, and every person who’s supported Peace Café, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 💛

Over the past decade, we’ve made incredible friends near and far, and we’re looking forward to many more beautiful years together.

This season, we’re bringing in even more art, full of vibrant pops of colour and true Canadian gems. Our doors are open, and we can’t wait to welcome you back.

OPEN FRI SAT SUN 10AM - 4PM all September! That’s a wrap for the busy part of the season, but we will keep things going for another month with modified times. A super special shout out to our family friend, Obaayaa, who came up for the summer and managed all of the lofts, worked in the cafe and at the fish n chips. Let’s all wish her good luck as she begins her post secondary schooling tomorrow.

It is with great pleasure that we announce the newest addition to The Mutchmor, a beautifully curated shop called Sandalwood Market. Owners and dear friends Ben and Carli Albrecht have put together an incredible selection of goods from a number of small-scale producers in India, where they have spent half of their lives over the past decade. Most items are hand crafted with organic materials. Ben has been highly involved in the success of Lake Huron Fish and Chips over the years, so it is exciting to see his and Carli’s increased involvement in the community. Be sure to check out the shop during your next visit to Prov.

THE MUTCHMOR LOFTS - THE CABIN will be ready to rent next week. Find us on Airbnb or book directly: [email protected] This was a really fun space to design. The room was originally connected to the gallery and had a cabin theme, so we stuck with it and got thrifty with using leftover boards to build a bed frame and headboard. Refinished a crappy old door and put it on a rail for bathroom and chopped a round table that we had in half to use for both a dining table and desk. Tied the place together beautifully with the addition of original art work from our dear friend and the late Jack Whyte. Also shout outs to mom and dad for the sweet garage sale stained glass finds!
