As the Vancouver days get colder and colder, this is the kind of dinner that feels like coming in from the rain. 🍂❤️

Tender roast beef covered in rich gravy, creamy mashed potatoes, colourful vegetables, and a golden Yorkshire pudding — the sort of hearty, familiar meal that never really goes out of style.

There’s something especially comforting about sitting down to a classic dinner like this when the weather turns. Warm, nostalgic, and very Tomahawk.

Some things are worth keeping the same. ❤️

Breakfast at Tomahawk has been a North Shore tradition for generations — big plates, familiar favourites and the kind of comfort food that makes you want to linger at the table a little longer.

Pictured here: our hearty Mixed Grill alongside the Veggie Bowl — two very different approaches to breakfast, and we fully support both. 😄

Tomahawk has been part of North Vancouver since 1926, and while we’re pretty fond of doing some things the old-fashioned way, there’s one tradition B.C. is about to leave behind: changing the clocks.

This November 1, when we normally would have turned the clocks back an hour, most of B.C. will keep them right where they are as the province moves to year-round Pacific Time. ⏰

What do you think — are you happy to be done with the time change, or will you miss that extra hour of sleep every fall?

Whatever the clock says, breakfast is waiting. 😉
