💜 McHappy Day 2026 raised an incredible $102,000 in support of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation!

These funds will help purchase two Belmont Rapid Infusers for the Emergency Department at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Belmont Rapid Infusers allow care teams to quickly and safely deliver warmed fluids and blood products during life-threatening emergencies, helping provide timely care when every second counts.

Over the past decade, has raised more than $700,000 to support equipment and projects throughout the hospital, including Centralized Monitoring System in Pediatrics, a Video Endoscopic Unit, and a Pediatrics Toy Room renovation.

Thank you to McDonald's Cape Breton, the Kennerknecht family, restaurant staff, volunteers, and every community member who supported McHappy Day 2026. Together, we are strengthening health care in Cape Breton and supporting our friends, families, and neighbours when they need it most. 💜

💛 What an incredible McHappy Day 2026! 💛

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, dedicated volunteers, and hardworking staff, we are proud to announce that together we raised an incredible $102,000 for the Emergency Department at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital!

These funds will help purchase much-needed equipment, including a trauma stretcher and a Belmont rapid infuser, helping ensure the Emergency Department has the tools needed to provide critical care when it matters most.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, visited our restaurants, and supported McHappy Day in any way — THANK YOU. Your kindness and community spirit are making a real difference for patients and families across Cape Breton.

Together, we are helping support better healthcare close to home. ❤️
