Happy one year, Mamdouh!🥂

Today marks exactly one year since Mamdouh took over The Grist & honestly, we just want to say how incredibly grateful we are to have him.

Taking over a family run business is a massive challenge, but Mamdouh didn’t just step into a role, he stepped into a family, a community & all that comes with it. He has worked so hard to keep the heart of this place beating, protecting the core & the community feel that has lived within these walls for so long. Its rare to find someone who cares as deeply as he does about the people, the atmosphere & the history of a space.
So today, today we want to take a moment out to say thank you Mamdouh for the long hours you put in, the behind the scenes sacrifices & for showing up every single day with nothing but love & intention. You made it so easy for all of us to keep calling this place home.
We are so lucky to have you leading us. Here’s to a beautiful first year & to the family & community we’ve continued to build together. We appreciate you more than you know Boss man! 🤍🥹🍻
