Victoria Day Monday came in looking and feeling like mid July. ☀️

The grass is bright green, the blossoms are out, and Niagara Falls has that first real taste of summer in the air again.

From our Canadian side view, the American Falls put on quite a show.

The water crashes over the edge and pounds against the massive boulders below, creating the roar and mist that fill the gorge day and night. Those rocks have been shaped by centuries of erosion and major rockfalls, including a massive collapse in 1954 that permanently changed the look of the Falls.

It’s wild to think one of Niagara’s most iconic views is still slowly changing over time.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms doing it all!

Today’s for slowing down a little. Taking in the mist, the blooms, the views, and maybe letting someone else make dinner.
