End of an Era. I've been meaning to post this for a long time, with the retirement of the OG drum I figured it's a fitting time.

Life has taken the meat mavericks into different directions and unfortunately I can't dedicate my time to this page anymore. The OG drum is being retired, after 7 years she's had her final cook. We sent her off with some beef ribs, a fitting end. Made some awesome memories but its time to move on. Thanks everyone and I hope you're all still enjoying the things you love!

Fiona hit pretty hard, we're fortunate that the only thing we have to deal with is no power. With no power you have to improvise, and that's leftovers in the cast iron on a butane burner. This is my beef that I took out to soon so it wouldn't pull like I wanted. Still has good flavour though. Hope everyone is staying safe!

Happy Mother's Day to all you awesome moms out there! Shout out to for this amazing chuck roast! Making some pulled beef to celebrate to occasion! It's been a while since I've made some so the family can't wait!

seasoned with salt and pepper
Drum set at 250° using Applewood
wrap at stall
Remove when it reaches 203°and let rest
Pull and serve!
