just in time for autumn – our fall seasonals are back (with a bit of a switch)! this year, we are introducing...

pumpkin pie chai (black) - it's fall in a cup! enjoy pumpkin, chai, and notes of vanilla blended together. 🎃🧡

fall for nuts (tisane) - this fruity caffeine-free blend has lovely almond notes with a blend of tartness. 🌰🤎 **contains almonds/natural flavouring derived from nuts**

spiced apple (tisane) - did you expect this tea to be back this early? our spiced apple is the epitome of an apple farm – fruity, tart, with a tinge of spice. 🍎❤️

We are sad to announce that after too short a time, we are once again out of our Nobimatcha.

Months ago, we were relieved to have finally found a supplier that met our high standards for quality while also keeping our pricing approachable. This combination is extremely rare in the modern matcha industry, and as we came to find out, it was not to last.

We will continue to research and test options so that we can keep with our goal to offer high quality, ethically sourced, and reasonably priced matcha. This may take some time or continue to be intermittent. Given unprecedented demand paired with record-high temperatures in Japan that negatively impact tencha yield, the industry is shifting in new ways that require flexibility.

Thank you again for your patience as we navigate this new landscape. Many farmers are making a hard pivot in their production in an attempt to keep up with matcha demand, though this shift can take years. This can also mean deprioritizing other kinds of tea, resulting in less diversity in loose leaf tea overall. If you love matcha but aren’t able to find it as a result of the shortage, it would be our pleasure to show you some other wonderful teas! We have over fifty teas we’re passionate about and would be happy to share our love of them with you.

Great Wall Tea is heartbroken on the tragic fire that affected our community. We can't imagine having to navigate through this transition! Although it may not be much, we would like to offer free tea beverages to any firefighters, paramedics, frontline workers and residents displaced by the fires for the rest of the month. We are also looking for other ways to support with our team.

Our Matcha has finally restocked for purchase in store and online! Thank you for your patience as we have navigated through this journey.

Our loose-leaf sizes are currently available in 50g, 100g, and 200g sizes. 200g will be the maximum quantity allowed for purchase per order in an effort to manage our supply and demand.
