The JerkShack Food Truck bis now operating out of Food Zone Inn in New Westminster. We are looking for people to join our team.
We are looking for a Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chef’s specifications and recipes and setting up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies. Other duties will consist of assisting the chef with their daily tasks. Cross training on the register will also be provided. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.
Responsibilities;
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, marinating meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items per recipe and specifications given,
Work in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow chef’s instructions
Communicate with front counter staff/order taker regarding order request and clarify order
Clean up station as you work and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
Comply with sanitation regulations and food safety standards
Will also be cross trained on register
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
