Hoovers Marina New opening at Hoovers Marina in Nanticoke! New menu too! Restaurant for everyone in the family to enjoy!

To our valued customers and community,

We want to clear up some misinformation regarding Hoover’s Wharfside Marina & Restaurant.

The restaurant is currently not operating, however the marina remains fully open and active for the season.

There have been claims that ownership was unwilling to cooperate or make arrangements moving forward. We want to clarify that this is not the case. After careful consideration, the decision not to proceed was based on concerns regarding cleanliness and operational standards that did not align with the expectations we have for our business and our customers.

We care deeply about this property, our customers, and the experience people have when visiting Hoover’s Wharfside.

At this time, we are open to discussing opportunities with anyone interested in renting and operating the restaurant for the season. We would love to see the restaurant thrive again under the right management and standards.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support the marina and our family business. We truly appreciate this community and look forward to what’s ahead.

A great man has passed away December 29th 2025
Dave Hoover whose family owned and operated Hoovers marina for many many years.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
