Thank you for 36 years of fun, friendship, and community at Devlin’s Country Bistro & Catering.

We were fortunate enough to celebrate this milestone earlier this week with so many of you, making memories that will last us a lifetime.

We’re still buzzing and can’t wait to see you all again soon.

Friday night at the Bistro.

Rack of lamb has always been one of those legacy dishes at Devlin’s Country Bistro — rich, elegant, memorable, and always worth making a reservation for.

This summer, we’re serving it pistachio crusted.

Our Pistachio Crusted Rack of Lamb is served with Hasselback mini potatoes, caramelized onions, blueberry gastrique, and harvest vegetables. It’s savoury, slightly sweet, beautifully balanced, and full of the kind of flavour that makes Friday night feel like an occasion.

Meat lovers, this one might change your mind.

Our new Lion’s Mane Taquitos are crispy, bold, and packed with flavour. Made with adobo lion’s mane mushroom, corn, black beans, jalapeños, and cilantro, rolled and fried in a corn tortilla, then served with guacamole, shredded lettuce, lime crema, and salsa roja.

They are crunchy, savoury, fresh, and full of that deep, satisfying flavour you do not always expect from a meat-free dish. Honestly, these taquitos could blow any meat lover’s mind.

And of course, tonight is Tender & Tail.

Enjoy our surf and turf legacy feature with a 5 oz bistro tender and 4 oz Canadian lobster tail, served with all the fixings for $45. Choose from garlic mashed potatoes or beef tallow fries, with fresh seasonal vegetables, demi glace, and melted clarified butter.

We are proud to announce our August Charity Bread recipient.

There were so many strong nominations, including Lonnie's on Market Soup Kitchen, Autism Dog Services, Good Will Good Karma, Sato Saved End of the Line Dog Rescue and Rehabilitation.

We loved reading what our community had to say about these groundbreakers and changemakers. The stories, personal experiences and thoughtful reasons shared with us were a meaningful reminder of how many incredible people and organizations are working to make a difference throughout Brantford and Brant County.

We are also excited to share that we will be keeping several of the top suggestions in mind for upcoming Charity Bread campaigns. Stay tuned, as you may see some of these deserving organizations featured in the months ahead.

AND NOW....For August, we are very proud to announce that our Charity Bread recipient will be Ladybug Creations by BL!

Founded by Brya, Ladybug Creations by BL reflects the very best of community care. Through compassion, generosity and a genuine commitment to helping others, Brya has created a place where neighbours can support neighbours and where food and essential items can reach individuals and families who need them.

Brya’s kindness and dedication have clearly made an impact, and the support shown throughout the nomination process speaks volumes about the difference she continues to make in our community.

Throughout August, 100% of the money raised through Charity Bread sales will be donated to Ladybug Creations by BL, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $2,000. If sales fall short, Devlin’s Country Bistro will top up the difference.

Wednesday night at the Bistro, and this new menu item is something special.

Meet our Spanish Ibérico Pork Chop.

Ibérico pork is often considered one of the finest pork options available, known for its rich marbling, deep flavour, and beautifully tender texture. This is not your everyday pork chop.

Ours is a 10 oz bone-in Ibérico pork chop, paprika marinated, grilled, and finished with chimichurri. It is served with patatas bravas tossed in romesco sauce, garlic aioli, and crispy Spanish ham.

Bold, smoky, juicy, rich, and full of Spanish-inspired flavour.

And of course, it is also Tender & Tail night. Our surf and turf legacy feature is available every Wednesday and Thursday.

Another drop-off catering event, another beautiful success.

This intimate wedding was looking for a grazing station guests could enjoy as they arrived, and our catering team was able to create a spread that felt welcoming, generous, and full of Bistro flavour.

We provided memorable charcuterie boards, fresh hot Italian-style homemade meatballs, and our stuffed mushroom caps, which are always a big hit.

Drop-off catering is a wonderful option when you want something easy, flexible, and budget friendly, while still giving your guests a polished and memorable food experience.

We’ll set everything up beautifully, make sure your grazing station is ready for guests to enjoy, and return afterwards to take everything down.

Simple for you. Special for your guests. Full of Devlin’s flavour.

This August, our community will choose the next organization supported through Devlin’s Country Bistro’s Charity Bread campaign.

From August 1 to August 3, nominate a local charity, nonprofit or community organization that deserves our support. The organization receiving the most valid nominations will become our August Charity Bread recipient.

Throughout the month, 100% of the money raised through Charity Bread sales will be donated to the winning organization, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $2,000. If sales fall short, Devlin’s will top up the difference.
