Wow. Thank you tonight we celebrate a win.

Seeing that sticker on our front door 2 years in and having La Spada included on Canada’s 100 Best Recommended list feels very special.

Restaurants are hard. Long days, late nights, constant pressure. Recognition like this doesn’t happen because of one person, it takes a very hard working team. FOH and BOH, operations and marketing. So many pieces in play.

This photo is of our front-of-house team: the people greeting you at the door, finding a way to squeeze you in, remembering your favourite table and drink, running food, bussing, pouring wine, answering questions, and constantly keeping the room moving.

We’re incredibly proud to see La Spada recognized alongside so many great restaurants across Canada, but even more proud of the people behind the sticker.

Thank you to Canada’s 100 Best for the recognition. Thank you to our team for believing in what we’re building. And thank you to every guest who chooses to spend their evening with us in Saint-Henri.

Chicken Parmigiana, la regina della tavola 🗡️🐍

Born from a Southern Italian and American red sauce fever dream , inspired by dishes like the melanzane alla parmigiana and the beautiful simplicity of a breaded cutlet, chicken parm became its own kind of legend. Crispy, saucy, cheesy, easy to love.

We keep it honest and simple: golden chicken, tomato sauce, melted cheese, parmigiano, and basil.

Née quelque part entre le sud de l’Italie p*s un délire italo-américain à sauce rouge, inspirée de classiques comme les melanzane alla parmigiana p*s de la belle simplicité d’une escalope panée, la chicken parm est devenue une légende à part entière. Croustillante, sauceuse, gratinée, impossible à ne pas aimer.

Nous autres, on la garde simple p*s honnête : poulet doré, sauce tomate, fromage fondu, parmigiano p*s basilic.
