The Birch Canoe Resto & Grill to Temporarily Close for Restructuring.

Midland, Ontario — The Birch Canoe Resto & Grill, located at Martyrs' Shrine, will close its doors effective today, July 3, as the restaurant undergoes a period of restructuring. The closure will remain in effect until further notice.

This decision reflects the restaurant's commitment to reassessing and strengthening its operations to better serve guests, staff, and the broader Midland community in the future.

The Birch Canoe Resto & Grill and the Martyrs’ Shrine sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause to its loyal patrons, staff, and partners. The restaurant is grateful for the continued support it has received from the community and looks forward to the opportunity to welcome guests back in the future.

As many of you are aware, we’ve recently made some changes to our menu at The Birch Canoe Resto. We’ve received a lot of feedback, and we truly value your input as we continue working to provide the best dining experience possible.

Our customers are our number one priority, and we want to make sure you’re happy every time you dine with us. We’d love for you to take a moment to vote and share your thoughts on a few menu items that have been brought up regularly:

🥔 **Nachos**
Would you like to see the return of our original **kettle chip nachos**, or would you prefer we keep the new **tortilla nachos**?

🦑 **Calamari**
We’ve heard from many of you that calamari has been missed terribly. Would you like to see it return to the menu?

🍝 **Chicken Parmesan**
Chicken Parmesan is now served with mashed potatoes and vegetables instead of pasta. Would you prefer it be returned to being served with pasta?
