The 2026 Random Acts of Kindness Day is coming to a close, and what an incredible day we had! 😎 Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating kindness and community spirit. We hope that everyone has continued to and spread kindness throughout our town!

Although this event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Midland and run by its members, it couldn’t happen without the support of our community.

A special shoutout to our generous local sponsors who made this event possible:
- Giant Tiger
- Tim Hortons Bay Street
- Grounded Coffee Company
- Weber Manufacturing
- For Sale on Georgian Bay - Shelby Greenlaw
- Marlon Gibbons
- Judi Contin

- First for Safety

The day was filled with joy and laughter! Children and adults alike enjoyed **face painting**. The **FREE BBQ** was a hit, bringing everyone together for delicious food and great conversations.

Thank you to all the volunteers and participants who made this day a success. Together, we spread kindness and created beautiful memories in our community. We can’t wait for next year!

FREE LUNCH THIS WEEK! TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY! The Rotary Club Of Penetanguishene is holding their Random Acts of Kindness Day tomorrow (Tuesday, May 26th) from 11:30am to 1:30pm and the Penetanguishene Foodland, and the Rotary Club of Midland is holding their Random Acts of Kindness Day on Wednesday, May 27th from 12pm to 1pm!

Let's spread KINDNESS in our communities, eat some FREE LUNCH, and pay it forward with more acts of kindness!

Looking for ideas of how to spread kindness? How about these:
- Hold the door for someone who’s juggling items.
- Let someone go ahead of you in line (checkout, bus, elevator, parking).
- Pick up litter near where you’re already walking.
- Smile + say “good morning” (or “have a great day”) to people you pass.
- Offer to help carry something for a neighbor or stranger.
- Pay for the person behind you (coffee, snacks, parking meter).
- If you see someone drop something, return it and say something friendly.
- Share your charger/cable (or a quick “need one?”) if appropriate.
- Make room on a seat—especially for someone with mobility challenges.
- Thank a service worker by name if you can (cashier, barista, bus driver)

Next Tuesday, May 26th, 2026 you can find us in front of the Penetanguishene Foodland giving away lunch for our annual Randomn Acts of Kindness Day. Come say hi and grab a bite to eat!
