I don’t know what more I could of done to prevent this nonsense... I don’t leave tools in the trailer and the doors are UNLOCKED that’s right the doors are NOT LOCKED.

Why do we allow these useless and unproductive members of society to continue to prowl around.

It’s about time! I finally got some pictures of the quarter sawn white oak and raw steel doors.

I wish I had put one on a scale but they were the heaviest doors I have ever picked up... absolutely a two man lift if you plan to move them more than two feet!

Completed this beauty of a rail replacement today. Every thing except the metal spindles was made by me.

As you can see in the before photos the last guy to tackle this project had no clue what to do with these tricky raked corner transitions.

I made custom twisted and curved fitting to eliminate 6 unnecessary newel posts. Then reinforced and boxed over the 4 remaining newels.

While I am not one to be overly festive or get deep into the holiday spirit, I could not help but recognize the uncanny symbolic similarities when I saw this lovely lady enjoying the sunrise while I drove to the jobsite this morning.

Ohh I know it’s not the first day of Christmas, that she is no partridge and that’s not a pear tree. But for the prairies of southern Alberta I think a pheasant in a Russian Olive will do.
