As the owner of The Prairie Diner, I just wanted to take a moment to comment on the recent Marsden Street Fest.
What a fantastic day! The organizing team did an incredible job once again pulling everything together and creating another great community event. 👏
With all the political and economic issues going on these days, I believe more than ever in the importance of buying local and supporting our small-town vendors and businesses.
Every year, I try to purchase a few local products—jams and other goodies—that I can take with me to the Philippines. I just finished my breakfast here in Manila, and I have to say… the local jam I brought with me was absolutely fantastic!
Nowhere have I been that has companies and local vendors putting out better products. And that goes for all of our local businesses and vendors.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in Street Fest, and keep up the great work! Your hard work, passion, and dedication are what make our small communities so special.
I encourage everyone to do their part—shop local, eat local, and support the businesses and vendors that make our communities great.
