This week at The Rockin Horse, we’re bringing the BIG flavours!

A taco and a burger got together… and honestly, we’re not mad about it. 😂

Fresh-ground chuck on a seeded Kaiser, loaded with lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheddar, fresh jalapeño & our house made taco sauce.

Taco? Burger? YES.

So many lovely people have been in to visit us this summer so far. So many comments we have overheard from our customers.

From guests being greeted by the sweet sounds of Lorianne's Grand Piano playing, and her Piano School, the comments about all of the wonderful and unique shops in town, and how beautiful Maple Creek is, to the amazing artwork adorning our walls and the “eclectic decor”, the superb service and cleanliness of our Rockin Horse. My favourite comment though, is “I could just drink this gravy”!

We are all so proud of our little town. The amazing businesses and top notch people who work tirelessly to keep them all going is always inspiring, and we are so honoured to be a part of it all for the past 18 years and counting.

To all of the shop keepers and their teams, the town workers, volunteers, first responders, healthcare workers, thank you for making maple creek such a special place!
Love you all! ❣️

We're back from our little break... and we sure missed you all! ❤️

It looks like everyone had an amazing weekend here in the Creek. Saturday was packed with great events and smiling faces!

A big congratulations to everyone who took part in the Hillybilly Hustle! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ What a fantastic event to get everyone movin' and groovin'... or, in my case, pantin' and wheezin'. 😂

Now let's talk about this week's special... 😋

🍔 Veal Cordon Burger
Golden pan-fried breaded veal, piled high with smoky ham, melty Swiss cheese (yes, "melty" absolutely counts 😉), onions, and rich mushroom sauce, all served on our classic burger bun.

Pair it with your favourite side and an ice-cold bevvy, and you've got yourself one delicious meal!

🔥 Jerk Chicken! 🔥

Flame-grilled marinated chicken thighs, kissed with bold Jamaican-inspired flavours, piled over fragrant jasmine rice and served with fresh cucumber, tomatoes tossed in zesty lime juice, and crisp shredded lettuce.
