A new name for our Thursday music series, with the same energy, settle in and enjoy live music together at The Leisure Learning Lab.

For our next showcase, we’re welcoming Willem James Cowan on Thursday, October 8!

Willem’s sweeping folk anthems have been capturing ears across Eastern Canada since 2018. Across three releases and a collection of singles, his music explores the quieter corners of the soul, pairing lush production with soft-spoken truths and an eye toward the future.

Your October just got a little more musical! ✨️

We’re welcoming Brent Jones to 3L for our next Music Monday on October 19.

A Canadian singer, songwriter, pianist and producer, Brent has spent years making music from Quiet Earth, his rural creative space just east of London. With 14 albums behind him and a brand new record, Rumours of Dawn, arriving this autumn, he’s bringing plenty of music and stories to share.

So grab your coffee, bring your lunch, take a seat and stay awhile.

OCTOBER LOOKS GOOD ON US.

New month. New menu. New music.

Starting Monday, October 5, Café at 3L is rolling out a brand new menu built for the way we want this place to feel: really good food, strong coffee, music in the room, art on the walls, and absolutely no reason to rush out the door.

On the new menu:

Morning Maker
Eggs, bacon, lettuce + cheese on a bagel or English muffin.

Turkey & Apple
Turkey, melty cheese, crisp apple, greens + garlic aioli on sourdough.

BBQ Beef Melt
Beef, house-made BBQ sauce, melty cheese + creamy slaw on a garlic-butter Kaiser.

Mediterranean Chicken
Seasoned chicken, roasted red pepper, whipped feta, greens + pickled onions.

Grilled Cheese
Simple. Crispy. Necessary.

Plus soup, baked goods, rotating weekly specials and plenty of coffee.

And because this is 3L, lunch comes with a soundtrack.
This Monday we’re welcoming Hubert to Music Monday.

Hubert is a London-based songwriter and pianist whose music moves between pop, folk, funk and classical influences — sometimes carrying traces of his Polish roots and Chopin, sometimes leaning into rhythmic, modern piano and unexpected textures.

It’s thoughtful. A little unusual. Vulnerable. Beautiful.
Basically: exactly the kind of music we want filling this room.

Starting October 1, we’re launching a brand-new referral challenge.

Send 10 new people our way.
They visit 3L.
They make a purchase.

Maybe it’s time to make something just for the fun of it. 🎨

On October 29, we’re spending a couple of hours with watercolours, taking inspiration from flowers and the natural world, and seeing where a little paint and colour can take us.

We’ll play around with loose, expressive techniques, experiment with shapes and textures, and make our way through the process together. You’ll get to take your own piece home at the end, too.

It’s beginner-friendly, so if it’s been a while since you picked up a paintbrush, this is a good place to start.

Monday — Turkey Melt
Turkey breast, cranberry jam + Swiss on garlic sourdough.

Tuesday — French Dip
Roast beef, caramelized onions + melty cheese on a white roll with au jus.

Wednesday — Classic BLT
Crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato + mayo on toasted sourdough.

Thursday — BBQ Chicken Wrap
Chicken, house-made BBQ sauce, slaw + pickled onion, wrapped up and ready to go.

Friday — Ham + Swiss Focaccia

🎶 October starts with a little soul.

Our first Picnic in the Pond Thursday evening music series of October is bringing Justin D’Croix to 3L!

Justin has been part of London’s music scene for more than a decade, performing as a solo artist and as the lead singer and guitarist of local funk band Fun Fact.

Expect soulful vocals, bluesy guitar, and a set that doesn’t like staying in one box. From Gershwin to Gnarls Barkley, Justin brings jazz, hip-hop, country, funk and everything in between together with his own grit and musicality.

🎹 It's almost October!!! And we will be kicking off Music Monday with Hubert on 5th October!

A London-based songwriter and pianist, Hubert blends pop vocals with funky keyboard riffs, classical influences and unexpected textures. His music draws from his Polish roots and classical training, while also exploring more modern, percussive approaches to the keyboard.

After playing with countless bands and artists across the globe, Hubert’s current solo work brings things a little closer, focusing on direct storytelling, minimal textures and songs that find their way into the less explored corners of our hearts.

Come spend your Monday with us and hear where the music takes you. 🎶
