14 Years in Pictures – Part 7

More pictures. More people. More memories.

Over the years we’ve shared countless pints, meals, conversations, celebrations, road trips, brewery visits, laughs, and adventures. Looking through these photos reminds us just how lucky we’ve been to meet so many wonderful people along the way.

And then there are moments like this.

Among all the pictures, stories, and memories from the last 14 years, this note from two of our regulars may just top them all.

This week, they got married.

To think that Pub Miloš was there for their third date, their engagement, and now their wedding is both humbling and incredibly special. We set out to build a place where people could gather over good food, good beer, and good conversation. We never imagined we’d get to witness so many chapters of people’s lives unfold along the way.

To the happy couple, congratulations. Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your story. We wish you a lifetime of happiness, laughter, adventures, and many celebratory pints together.

And to all the Earthlings who have made memories within these walls over the past 14 years—thank you for making Pub Miloš far more than just a pub.

🍻 Here’s to love, friendship, community, and the stories still waiting to be written.

Three countries. Three reasons to clear your plate.

🇯🇵 Takoyaki (たこ焼き) – Japanese octopus balls finished with Kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, and all the street-food charm we could fit onto one plate.

🍅 Heirloom Tomato Crostini – featuring the first heirloom tomatoes of the season, layered over blue cheese crème fraîche and finished with bacon crumble and scallions.

🥕 Za’atar Roasted Carrots – served with silky baba ganoush, warm pita, and crunchy dukka for a little Middle Eastern magic.

The first tomatoes of the season have landed, the kitchen is excited, and these features won’t be around forever.

No passports required. Just an appetite and perhaps a friend willing to share (or not).

Which one are you ordering first?

🍅 Two new dishes have landed at Pub Miloš.

The first tomatoes of the season are starting to show up, and while peak tomato season is still ahead of us, they’re already too good not to use.

🍅 Tomato Crostini
Toasted bread, whipped cheese, early-season tomatoes, pesto, and fresh greens. A little preview of what’s coming later this summer.

🥕 Za’atar Roasted Carrots
Served with baba ganoush, dukkah, and grilled pita. Smoky, crunchy, earthy, and dangerously snackable.

Chef Alex and the crew have been having fun with these ones.

One celebrates the first hints of tomato season. The other proves carrots can be the star of the show.

Available now, while they last.

More COVID-Era Miloš. The sequel nobody asked for.

Back when the pub was closed and the world was busy learning words like “social distancing,” Miloš was busy assembling what may have been the most diverse cast of characters ever seen in a single-person production.

There was Santa Miloš.
Rock Star Miloš.
Rainbow-Wig Miloš.
Horse-Head Miloš.
Mrs. Doubtfire Miloš.
Spiritual Guru Miloš.
And several others whose identities remain under investigation.

Day after day, these broadcasts brought a little silliness, a few laughs, the occasional useful update, and proof that too much free time can be a dangerous thing.

Looking back, these videos weren’t really about costumes. They were about staying connected when we couldn’t gather, supporting one another, and reminding ourselves that even during strange times, a sense of humour goes a long way.

To all the Earthlings who tuned in, commented, shared, laughed, and occasionally questioned our collective sanity—thank you.

As for the costumes themselves, the mystery remains largely unresolved. Some are believed to still be in Miloš’s possession. Others seem to have vanished without a trace. Authorities continue to investigate.

🍻 To the characters, the costumes, and the community that helped us get through some very strange days.

Remember these?

Back when the pub was closed, the chairs were upside down, and nobody knew what day it was anymore, Miloš took it upon himself to become London’s least-qualified broadcaster.

There were Vikings. There were rabbits. There were wigs. There were chickens. There were public announcements nobody asked for and life advice nobody should have followed.

Every day brought a new character, a new costume, and another reminder that while we couldn’t gather at the pub, we could still find a reason to laugh.

Looking back, those videos were never really about beer. They were about staying connected, keeping spirits up, and reminding ourselves that we’d eventually get through it together.

Thanks to all the Earthlings who tuned in, commented, laughed, and helped keep our little community going through some strange times.

And yes… Miloš still owns most of these costumes. The whereabouts of several remain unknown.

🍻 To the COVID videos. Equal parts entertainment, therapy, and evidence.

14 Years in Pictures – Part 6

A few more snapshots from the last 14 years.

More travel memories. More brewery adventures. More discoveries. More friends. More enthusiastic beginnings when we thought we knew what we were doing.

This batch includes a time when Beerlab was just beginning its ascent onto the Ontario beer scene, with our dear brothers Adil and Nick pouring their passion into something special. It’s been a privilege to watch so many great people and great breweries grow over the years.

There are road trips, memorable pints, fantastic meals, and plenty of moments that helped shape Pub Miloš into what it is today.

And somewhere in this collection you’ll find Miloš at about two years old, already hanging around with his chicken brethren, which, in hindsight, explains quite a lot.

The beers were great. The discoveries were exciting. But it’s always been the people who made the journey worthwhile.

🍻 Here’s to 14 years of memories, friendships, adventures, and stories.

COMFORT FOOD WEDNESDAY

Chef Alex has taken a brief break from stuffing things into sausages and gone in a slightly more elegant direction this week.

Sweet Pea & Chèvre Ravioli
with Scallion Soubise

Fresh sweet peas. Creamy chèvre. Pillowy ravioli. A silky scallion soubise that sounds fancy because it is fancy.

It’s the kind of dish that makes you feel sophisticated while still delivering the comfort food hug your Wednesday desperately needs.

Sure, you could spend your evening making homemade ravioli from scratch. Or you could let Chef Alex do all the work while you focus on the important things, like deciding which beer deserves to accompany it.

$20 • Dine-in only

Available tonight while quantities last.
