Free mini dip plates while supplies last! 💫

We’re looking to carry Nuts For Cheese dips at the café and we’re looking for as many people as possible to come try out these three flavours and help us decide which one to carry first.

Just pop in over the weekend and say “free dip plate please”.

I’ve been eating vegan, gluten-free sweets and treats for decades and still I almost cried when I first ate a ginger molasses cookie by Mâche Dining 🥰😭💫

Babes, there are really chunks of ginger and the cookie is so soft it just hugs ya….it hugs!!!!!

Anyways, we’re bringing all the treats to the café, adding a few more favourites this week!

Yes, what I'm about to share is SUPER last minute, I know, I know butttttt like wouldn't it be great if some of these things came to life!

* Do you know someone, or are you someone, who would like to play some live cafe-type vibes for International Music Day this Thursday, Oct 1 at The Dilly-Dally Café London anytime between 9am - 4pm? Not the whole time, just some time? 🥳 Free coffee and a sweet treat (until we have $).

* Do you have any cards you no longer want? Would you be willing to donate them to our card-writing table for World Card Making Day (Saturday)?

* Do you have a horn to toot? 🤣 Sunday is "toot your own horn" day! We'll have a place at the café for people to write what they're proud of and wouldn't it be so much more special if someone tooted a horn when they did it? Again, whatever time works for you. Free coffee for your tooting.

* What are some random-acts-of-kindness ideas? We're going to put them on little pieces of paper in a jar for peeps to take in celebration of World Smile Day on Friday.

My Dilly-Dallyers! Update on café hours, applicants for café play, and business pop-up opportunities.

* Hours this week (and for the rest of October).

WhooHoo! New Hours!

Thursdays: 9am - 5pm
Fridays: 9am - 6pm
Saturdays: 10am - 4pm
Sundays: 10am - 4pm

These will continue to expand as our team is built. It's happening. Fast. 😅🥰 There will be 12 applicants coming in this week to train and trial working at the café, please come in and cheer them on!

I can't wait to see so many of you this week/weekend!! Thank you so much for all of your encouragement , support and for coming by the cafe those first few days in September! It's feeling so good to be able to offer a physical space again and to work together to shape what that serving our community looks like!!

It seems I unknowingly used AI earlier this week when using Canva to create a graphic (not knowing Canva is now AI in addition to previously offered templates, stock photos, etc.).

Someone called me out because the use of AI for the production of visual content is against their values and they thought it would be out of alignment with mine. It is.

I'm posting this because I want our space to stand for things. Justice. Representation. Environmental Protection. The Arts. All things precious, special and real.

I'm human, I'm learning, I feel shame and embarrassment and I don't want people to think I don't care. I'm obsessed.

Sometimes I am quick to do things and don't always know what to look for to make sure things are in alignment. If there are things that don't feel "on brand". Reach out, share with me what I might not know. We can grow and do better together, but only if we give each other a chance.
