We're a full service transportation hub. We are all about city bikes, and city cycling. Once upon a time, bike shops sold bicycles for sport. Every weekday, athletes who owned the bike shops sold road bikes, and mountain bikes, and track bikes to other athletes, and then they rode and competed on weekends. Then one day, ordinary people realized that bicycles could be used to get around the city qu

ickly and safely. Because of that, the City Planners said there should be safe places to ride your bike on the streets in the city, too, and they built bike lanes on the street that were separated from cars. Because of that, the London Bicycle Café opened, and helped the ordinary people find the perfect bicycle to get around the city easily and safely with their families. Because of that, people rode their bikes more, living happier, healthier lives, while saving money because they drove their cars less. Until finally, cycling became the year-round transportation method of choice for Londoners.

London Bicentennial Long Table Dinner
July 3, 2026 | The Bicycle Café | 6-9pm

Join us for an intimate evening celebrating 200 years of food, farming, and community in London and Middlesex County.

Set beneath the summer sky on The Bicycle Café patio, this one-night-only Long Table Dinner will feature a ten-course tasting menu inspired by historical recipes, regional agricultural traditions, and the people who helped shape our region over the past two centuries.

Each course offers a contemporary interpretation of heritage ingredients and culinary traditions, paired with Ontario wines, heritage ciders from Heeman's Cellar, and stories from the producers who continue to cultivate Southwestern Ontario today.

Featured producers include:
Heeman's Cellar
1847 Stone Milling
New Galma Dairy
Kampkreek Dairy
Bos Fish

Throughout the evening, guests will explore the evolution of the London District through food, from early settlement gardens and wheat milling traditions to post-war agricultural influences and seasonal harvest celebrations.

Oh what a weekend! We had such a blast -

Thank you Little White Lies for opening this year's River District Concert Series! It was a beautiful accompaniment to the Creative Nomads group art exhibit, which will hang in our hallway space until July 12!

And not one but TWO tied games for Canada and Netherlands! We can't wait to see you on the patio this summer for more incredible events! 🍻
