Happy Friday!! Are you coming to see us today for French Toast Friday or Creamy Chicken Thai Soup Day? Both are happening. We have delicious Five Girls Baking cinnamon bread in our delicious cinnamon and egg batter fried golden and crisp with bacon or sausage and topped with powdered sugar. We have, as always, our creamy chicken Thai soup that’s best with a warm biscuit. We have some lemon mini pies in the dessert fridge and a banana bread in the oven almost ready to get sliced. Woohoo for Friday!

Happy 16th Wynn!! She’s going to enjoy her special day off today but we want to send her the biggest birthday wishes. 🎂
Today’s soup is turnip apple. Come see us for breakfast this morning for a breakfast wrap, panini or biscuit sandwich. For lunch, we’d recommend a chicken cranberry apple walnut panini and a slice of caramel apple cream pie.

Halfway through the week! Today we have potato bacon soup. Also feels like a good day for a picnic so we’re having our summer favourite special picnic plate- ham and turkey, homemade potato salad, coleslaw, cucumber, tomato and cheese. Finish with a piece of our pecan cream pie- light creamy cream cheese filling with candied pecans on a graham crumb crust and topped with a little caramel and whipped cream. Come see us for breakfast, lunch or dessert until 3pm!
