🌕 Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 中秋快乐！ 🥮

Today, Chinese families celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival — a time to get together, share a good meal, and enjoy the beautiful full moon.

The full moon means family reunion, especially remembering the ones who are far away. ❤️

It’s a bit like Thanksgiving — good food, family, and being thankful for the people around us. 😊

From our family to yours, Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕🥮

月圆人团圆！

Think the kitchen is closed after dinner? Not quite, b’y! 😂

After a busy dinner service, our crew clocked out… and then clocked right back into the kitchen!

We got straight to work preparing all the late-night meals our customers had pre-ordered.

Big shoutout to our hardworking crew — tired feet, full kitchen, but still getting the job done! 💪

You guys deserve a BIG thank you… and maybe a little extra coffee this morning! ☕

Crispy Egg Roll filled with our flavorful Chinese-seasoned filling, paired with our golden chicken fried rice, stir-fried with our special soy sauce for that rich, savoury flavour.

And of course, the star of the plate — crispy Chicken Balls coated in our delicious sweet & sour sauce! ❤️

A classic combo, full of flavour and always satisfying! 😋

A little pop of color makes such a big difference! 🌸🌼
A huge thank you to Faith Greenhouses & Garden Centre for these gorgeous flowers — they truly brighten up the front of our restaurant and make it feel so welcoming.
We absolutely love them! ❤️

What a wonderful surprise after a long day at work. ❤️

Reading this post and all of your comments truly warmed our hearts. Thank you, Destination Lewisporte, for the kind words, and thank you to every customer who has supported us over the years.

Running a small family restaurant isn’t always easy, but moments like this remind us why we do it. Thank you for letting us be part of your memories. ❤️

Wilson Li will remember your order. Not tonight's order. The one you placed a year ago, on your first and only visit.

That's not us talking, that's a reviewer who couldn't get over it. People drive in from Gander just for supper at Li’s Restaurant on Main Street, which tells you most of what you need to know. Chinese and Szechuan alongside Canadian favourites, a dining room that's had a proper facelift, and an orange chicken with fresh oranges quartered right through it that regulars order without opening the menu.

A town of 3,288 with a Chinese restaurant this good surprises people. We stopped being surprised years ago.

Come see what the fuss is about.

This photo was simply too beautiful not to share! ✨

One of our wonderful customers ordered takeout to enjoy at their Airbnb—and they even took the time to plate everything so beautifully! 😍

Seeing our food become part of your special moments truly makes our day. Thank you for sharing this with us!

If you have any beautiful photos of your meals from our restaurant, we’d love to see them! Feel free to share them with us—we always enjoy seeing our food through your eyes. ❤️
