A little local-business shoutout that absolutely deserves one. 🌸🧁

We celebrated my Grandma’s 90th birthday this weekend, and these incredible cupcake bouquets were made by Coco's Cupcakes in komoka.

My Grandma actually used to decorate wedding cakes herself, so when we were deciding what to do for her 90th, we knew she would appreciate the time, patience and talent that goes into something like this.

And wow…
they were beautiful. ❤️🌼🌹 Almost too pretty to eat….
Almost. 😂

The celebration itself was pretty special too. Grandma was surrounded by friends and family, including people she hadn’t seen in a very long time. After a difficult year for our family and losing my mom last year, seeing Grandma smiling, visiting and enjoying everyone around her meant more than I can really put into words.

Grandma isn’t much for Facebook, so I’ll respect that and keep the spotlight off her. But I did want to put the spotlight on the talented person who made these.

Thank you, Coco’s Cupcakes in Komoka, for making something so beautiful for such an important birthday. 🩷

If you’re looking for something a little different for a special occasion, check her out. Supporting a small local business and getting edible flowers seems like a pretty good combination to me. 🌸🧁
