Thanksgiving weekend is here and the patio is peak autumn right now. 🍁☕

This is the long weekend that was made for slowing down: a really good coffee, something warm from the oven, the kind of morning that reminds you what you're actually grateful for before the chaos of the family dinner begins.

We're open today until 9pm, all weekend for whatever your Thanksgiving looks like.

A few things we're grateful for this year:
☕ A community that chose us as their Nest
🐾 Every dog who has visited the patio and every pup cup we've poured
💚 Every cup of coffee that sent 10% to KW & SP Humane Society and the dogs like Rosco who are one step closer to their forever home because of it
🥐 Every fresh-made bake that came out of this kitchen since May, 2025.

Breslau thank you. Genuinely. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at The Nest. 🍁♥️

Last call for Thanksgiving pie orders. 🥧🍁

If you were planning to pick up a homemade pie for your Thanksgiving table this weekend, today is the day to call.

Our pies are made with love in our kitchen, to order, just the way you like them.

The kind of pie that makes someone ask who made it and then ask if there's a second one.

There might be. If you call today.

📞 226-366-9687

Order by the end of the day today for Thanksgiving weekend pickup.

Don't let your dessert table down. 🥧♥️

And don't forget that if you have the Coupon Clipper book, there's a half price pie deal inside. Buy one at regular price, get a second of equal or lesser value for half price. Pre-order only.

Valid until November 30, 2026.

The long weekend is days away and we are ready for you. 🍁

Whether you're hosting a table full of family, surviving the grocery store run, or just desperately need a coffee before you deal with any of it, The Nest is here for all of it this Thanksgiving weekend.

🍁 Friday — 7am to 9pm
🍁 Saturday — 9am to 9pm
🍁 Sunday — 9am to 5pm
🍁 Thanksgiving Monday — 9am to 5pm

Rosco has one question for the person scrolling past this post right now. 🐾

"Are you my person?"

He's been at KW & SP Humane Society since July. Seventy-four pounds of clever, energetic, human-loving dog who believes every day is best spent outside with someone worth adventuring alongside.

He is not asking for much. Just routine, patience, and a family ready to say yes to wherever the trail leads next.

Rosco is good with older kids. Potentially good with cats with a slow introduction. He would thrive with a first-time dog owner who is willing to invest in two training sessions to help him grow. His adoption fee has already been reduced because KW & SP Humane Society believes in him and wants October to be his month.

We do too.

This month at The Nest, every single order of our Pumpkin Spice Latte and every scoop of Chocolate Brownie ice cream sends $1 directly to the shelter keeping Rosco loved and cared for while he waits.

🍫 Chocolate Brownie ice cream → $1 to KWSP for Rosco
☕ Pumpkin Spice Latte → $1 to KWSP for Rosco

Treat yourself today. Come in, order something cozy, and help us make sure October is the month Rosco finally hears yes. 🍂♥️

Visit kwsphumane.ca/adopt to meet him at the Kitchener location.

Share this if you know his person. 🐾

Meet Tobi. 🐾 This week's , October birthday boy, and a dog who has never once in his life had a thought he didn't immediately share out loud.

He's a Corgi. You already knew this about him. 😂

Tobi turns five this month and he is celebrating exactly the way a Corgi should, with maximum energy, maximum opinions, and absolutely no indoor voice.

He visited The Nest recently and we heard him coming before we saw him and we mean that as the highest possible compliment.

This boy swims. He hikes. He chases snowballs in the winter with the full intensity of someone who has been training for this his entire life. He is friendly, energetic, and completely unbothered by the concept of slowing down.

Five years old and still running at full volume. We love to see it. 🎂

Tobi's family shared something that really stayed with us. They believe the Humane Society needs more support so more dogs can find their forever homes and they hope to one day adopt a second dog from KW & SP Humane Society so Tobi finally has a playmate who can keep up with him.

A Corgi. With a playmate. The chaos would be legendary and we are fully here for it. 🐾🐾

This is exactly the kind of community The Nest was built around: people who show up for animals, who give dogs great lives, and who are already thinking about the next one waiting at the shelter.

10% of every coffee sold here goes directly to KW & SP Humane Society every single month.

This October, every Chocolate Brownie ice cream scoop and every Pumpkin Spice Latte sends an extra $1 to the shelter caring for Rosco, our October Dog of the Month. 🍫☕

Come visit us this weekend.

Bring your dog.

Tag your visit with and if your pup has half the energy of Tobi, we are absolutely ready for them. 🐾

Happy birthday month, Tobi. You are very much a Good Boy, even when you're being Very Loud about it. 🎂

Hello October. 🍂 And hello to the dog who is about to make this the best month of the year.

Meet Rosco. 🐾

Rosco is a 2 year old, 74lb bundle of pure outdoor energy and he has one question for you every single morning:
"Where are we going next?"

This boy lives for adventure. Trails, parks, fresh air, wide open spaces, Rosco is always ready to clock in for his next exciting assignment and he will be the most enthusiastic teammate you have ever had.

He is clever, energetic, human-social, and absolutely happiest when he has a mission and a person to share it with.

He has been at KW & SP Humane Society since July. He is ready.

Rosco is looking for an active family with plenty of routine. A home with no shared entrances, older children with large dog experience, and someone who is ready to match his energy and invest in helping him grow into his best self.

First time dog owners are welcome. His adoption fee has already been reduced because the right family is out there and KW & SP Humane Society wants to help Rosco find them. 🍂

This October at The Nest, we are in his corner and we have two perfect fall ways for you to be too:

🍫 Chocolate Brownie ice cream — $1 from every scoop goes directly to KW & SP Humane Society for Rosco
☕ Pumpkin Spice Latte — $1 from every order goes directly to KW & SP Humane Society for Rosco

Rich, cozy, and made for October. Just like Rosco's story deserves to be. 🍂

Visit kwsphumane.ca/adopt to meet Rosco in person at the Kitchener location.

Share this post if you know someone whose life needs a four-legged adventure buddy reporting for duty. 🐾

We need to talk about our Pumpkin Spice Latte. 🎃☕

Because ours isn't made with a powder. Or a bottle from a supplier. Or anything that came from anywhere other than this kitchen.

Our pumpkin spice syrup is made right here in the cafe, from scratch, in small batches, the way we make everything. Warm spices, real ingredients, zero shortcuts.

The result? A latte that actually tastes like fall instead of just smelling like a candle. 🍂

Hot or iced. Your call. Both are unreasonably good.

Come in and try it this week. Your autumn deserves the real thing. ☕🍂
