To Our Sweet Caroline’s Family ❤️

There are some words that are incredibly difficult to write, and these are certainly among them.

After a lot of thought, many conversations, and a great deal of emotion, I have made the very difficult decision to close the doors of Sweet Caroline’s Ice Cream and Cafe.

When I first opened Sweet Caroline’s, I dreamed of creating more than just a cafe. I wanted a place where people could come together. A place that felt warm, welcoming, and a little bit like home.

And because of all of you, it became exactly that.

Over the years, you have shared birthdays, celebrations, first dates, family gatherings, coffee dates, quiet moments, and countless conversations with us. You brought your children in for ice cream, stopped by for your morning coffee, ordered cakes for special occasions, and supported us through the good days and the challenging ones.

You didn’t just become customers. You became part of our Sweet Caroline’s family.

To everyone in our community who supported our small business, recommended us to friends, shared our posts, celebrated our successes, and simply walked through our doors, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There were days when running a small business was incredibly challenging, but knowing that we had such an amazing community behind us made every difficult day worthwhile.

Closing our doors is incredibly bittersweet. There is sadness in saying goodbye to something we have poured so much of our hearts into, but there is also tremendous gratitude for everything Sweet Caroline’s has given us.

The friendships.
The laughter.
The memories.
The people.

Those are the things we will take with us.

I will forever be grateful that I had the opportunity to be a small part of your lives and to serve such a wonderful community.

Thank you for letting us be your neighbourhood cafe. Thank you for choosing local. Thank you for believing in us. And thank you for making Sweet Caroline’s so much more than a business.
