It’s a bittersweet morning 💔

First of all, HAPPY NATIONAL CROISSANT DAY. It’s a day to celebrate this golden, flakey, beautiful pastry that has allowed us to grow, create, and love this community ♥️

I would also like to specifically thank Kelly, Saffiya, Clare, Simon, James, and Ben for being the best team, past and present, that I could have ever asked for.

Though we are closing our doors, please remember all the other local makers and bakers in the community. They need your help more than ever right now.

Holy Smokes! That was our busiest morning ever. We are sold out for the day, and will be seeing you tomorrow morning at 9am for our final farewell, and to celebrate National Croissant Day.

Sold out, in the first hour! We will be closing at 11:30 so that our staff can prep for a very busy day tomorrow.

It’s incredibly humbling to see all the love and support.

As we go in to our last weekend, a reminder that we are making as many as we can, and are implementing a 12 croissant limit per customer.

We will sell out, some people will be disappointed, but a reminder that we are doing all that we can to make sure that everyone gets a taste before we close.

See you tomorrow at 9am, and we will be at the Kitchener Market 7 until sold out.

Well here it is, out last week. 😢

Thank you all for the support, messages, comments, photos, memories, and kind words that have been shared through the past few weeks. It breaks our hearts to have to say goodbye, but we will definitely be going out with a bang!

Our final day, Sunday January 30th, just so happens to be National Croissant Day 🥐 💛 Unreal, eh? 🤩

So Sunday will be a celebration of this wonderful, complex, delicious, buttery, time-consuming, beautiful pastry we have all fallen in love with over the last year and a half.

A note: it is likely this week will be a busy one - especially the weekend and so croissants will be limited to 12 per customer. Our staff are currently preparing at our max capacity, and so we hope this can ensure everyone gets a taste!

Due to our equipment issues yesterday things are going to work a little different today.

- We will only have a very limited quantity of fresh Blueberry croissants at 188 King 🫐
- We will have lots of day olds half dozen packs from yesterday that just need a warm up in the oven 🔥
- Unfortunately we won’t be at the Kitchener Market today
- Full service drinks available as usual!
